Here is a Great Post From Our Friends @ 24Blogazine.

This spring, whether you’re hanging with your favorite guy pal, heading to the gym or meeting up with friends for dinner – put on a leather jacket to add a rocker edge to your look.
Taylor Lautner and his friend Lilly show how a simple gray hoodie and blue jeans can go a long way by simply adding a tight fit leather jacket. And a simple trip to the gym doesn’t have to mean boring sweats and tee; a hard edged, studded cropped jacket worn by Nicole Richie will spice things up and create a stylish appearance after a workout.
Leather jackets can also be incorporated into the latest 70s spring trend! Copy Jessica’s outfit in pairing your flared jeans with feather earrings and a brown leather jacket and white tank. If you like to go out, no matter what you’re wearing, add any leather jacket to spice up your wardrobe and get you feeling like a rockstar, in a good way!

Bling is in for both women and men. Walk through the malls and many retailers from Style Exchange to H&M to Holt Renfrew are selling an assortment of “blinged out” merchandise. One example is Ed Hardy clothing and accessories, renowned for their signature bejewelled tattoo inspired emblems.
Metal studs and rhinestones in a range of sizes, shapes and colours adorn t-shirts, jackets and jeans for today’s stylish urbanisto or urbanista. Rhinestones also range in price and quality from the dollar store variety to Swarovski crystal assortments.
If you are feeling ambitious and frugal, it is possible to give older clothing items a fresh face with the right tools. It can be inexpensive and easy. The Bedazzler is one such tool. For $19.95, you can purchase this product online which comes complete with setting tool and assorted gems to get you started.
Another option is to purchase the flat, glue backed variety from a fabric/textile store such as Fabricland and use a heat transfer method like an iron to set them into place. This is what I recently did with a t-shirt I bought from Black Market Clothing on Queen Street in Toronto.
The t-shirt has an image of a black panther outlined in neon colours – very funky and retro and perfect for a night out at a mega club like The Guvernment but I felt it needed something a little extra. So, I purchased small, flat, glue backed rhinestones in onyx black from Fabricland. They come in a pack of twenty-four for about four dollars and were easy to apply. After laying the shirt flat on an ironing board, I simply placed the stones randomly over the black shaded areas of the panther. Next, I placed a protective cloth over the garment and ran an iron lightly over the cloth, adding steam but barely touching, causing the glue on the rhinestones to melt and adhere to the fabric. The garment can be either hand washed or machine washed on a gentle cycle.
The key to bejewelling clothing items yourself is not to go overboard. Use embellishments sparingly so the clothing item looks high quality and not too garish unless deliberately going for a costume effect. Remember that less is often more.

From the entry “From Ms. Blige to Bow Ties”
Published in Sound & Style, Jan. 26, 2010
Bow ties have made a comeback! Once the fashion of days gone by and conservative Harvard professors, these accessories have become the latest celebrity trend and have been wrapping their way around the necks of celebs from David Beckam and Taylor Lautner to music stars like Outkast and Pherell Williams. They are great alternative to a necktie and come in a range of colours, fabrics and styles from the traditional black worn with a tuxedo to some funkier looks that can be paired with a tailored suit and knit sweater or dress up a pair of jeans and a blazer. I recently even saw a black one encrusted with rhinestones in the window of Guess.
And, bow ties do not need to be worn with a tuxedo shirt. They can be worn with a dress shirt as long as the tips of the shirt collar do not drop down too far below the bottom edge of the bow tie.
These trendy neck adornments range in price and are currently selling for around $30 at LeChateau http://www.lechateau.ca/en/bow-tie and can go upwards to over $100 for unique custom made pieces from Dion Neckwear Ltd., distributers to upscale retailers such as Harry Rosen.
I recently purchased a silver bow tie with red, black and white pinstripes for $15 from Aldo (image below). So consider a bow tie the next time you step out on the town!
