So Geof is going to keep us updated on the Fashion Horizons and we will occasionally be posting from some of our other correspondents around the globe to keep you abreast of the latest and greatest. Here is Geof’s first Rant… and of course being Geof… the bar ain’t high enough yet!

This news’ flash wrongly written and jacked up on Reike pearls- has been in this adelpated mind of mine long enough to grow out of my ears- and now out of my mouth.

Calvin Klein purportedly said- “there is no such thing as Bad Publicity”- and Ego and Greed can use any use any kind of publicity it can get- so you unwitting consumers can get a real deal. Not a New Deal- it’s as old as the hills- the coal stripped hills of pennsylvania to minnesota- where so many fled from- like the Dust Bowl- to the fruit orchards of corporate controlled vegetable fields and fruit orchards of California in the 30′s- i digress- yet Ego and Greed had everything to do with that.

Just listen to a little Woodie Guthrie- you’ll know what i mean. Or go to a library and re-learn how to read before its too late.

like Dianne Vreeland once said to me-

“it’s not bad taste nor good taste= that bothers me-geof- its NO taste that gets to me.”

in shoes- i’ve done both- but not the third- though there is still time to do some shoes that have no Taste Level at all- and i might if i get in a bad enough mood someday- Just to show what Bad Taste can really taste and feel like.

This non sequitur- written here from a mangled mind of fashion- must be printed.

Shoes don’t fit anymore- Podiatrists offices are full of women- and maybe some men too- with crippling bunions-blisters-hammer toes- you name it- if you can limp.

The companies dont care- The manufacturers dont care- the shoes being made are full of lead and other poisons- and if they can find a way around it- they will. Walmart-Payless-Kohls-Target- will all keep buying them from the manufactuers if they are at the “right” price- to Give you a Good Deal.

Ego and Greed- Shame on all of you.

Asimov- would debunk you all if he were around.

The feet are meant for walking and alot of other things- but not poisoned over priced- repititous retailed time bombs.

This site- will sell footwear- and soon clothing- and other oddities you may enjoy- at prices you may find reasonable. If unreasonable- let us know- We aren’t like the above mentioned thieves and connivers- and just want you to have a good time- with the time thats left- on this earth.

Ego and Greed- is gonna make alot noise- and be more than the a thorn in the corporations side-

more like a knife in the heart- with a twist- all with love,compassion and acceptance-of course.

We mean no one- any harm. Just a perpetual headache.

Libel

Unnnecessary Business Harassment. The usual-that come from cantakerous old nomads-no more.

Unusual and Cruel Treatment- for how the corporatons lie and steal from all of you.

Just call Ego and Greed- we will tell you the Truth. No Heels barred etc etc.

This is about change-

a change is a gonna come-

Ego and Greed is about Education and Goodness and Fun.

To quote a phrase-

“It’s no longer funny-

it’s bigger than money”

(thank you Keef)- ya gotta give credit where credit is due.

And lots of credit goes out- to all of you- who help support Ego and Greed- it will all come back to you- if not in this life- in the next one- and dont be late- as a guy once said.

When day dawns i’ll write up a splash- of whose cool and whose not- what to watch for- and what to borrow to wear from your mothers’-your fathers’ and your unsuspecting friend.

Suggestions of what Ego and Greed ought be doing- except disappearing-which isnt gonna happen- cause i feel like making hats now- please tell us what you want- and we will do it.
